The RMS

The Swiss Military Review (SMR) is the reference periodical in French-speaking Switzerland for issues relating to security policy and defence.

Its aim is to provide readers with high-quality insight into developments in these areas, both in Switzerland and abroad, and into the life of our army's major units and troop corps, while also providing a historical perspective on these issues. It also provides an opportunity for officers' societies in French-speaking Switzerland to report on their activities.

The Swiss Military Review Association which is responsible for creating the conditions necessary for the long-term survival of our magazine, as well as the team in charge of editing it, are made up of people who are committed to the militia principle. They devote a significant part of their time to it.

Our magazine is intended as a privileged platform for our readers and, more generally, for anyone interested in security issues who would like to publish the fruits of their labours and reflections.

As an independent news organisation, RMS relies above all on the fruits of its own labour. subscriptions and advertising published to ensure its funding.
